Profile

I love libraries and their mission of making communities stronger and empowering people in using information to enrich their lives. I’ve worked in the MCC library for over 20 years, starting as a student. Now, as library faculty, I enjoy supporting students to succeed by teaching them about information creation, evaluation, and use, while also just being here as someone who will listen or provide a safe space to be. I am interested in equity and inclusion, open access to information, and online learning. My personal interests include reading all sorts of books except Westerns, hiking, attempting to garden, watching too much TV, exploring Arizona with my kids. I also love Halloween (the holiday) and Doctor Who.
